Associate Veterinarian – Small Animal Practice

We are seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join our growing small animal practice in San Marcos, California, located in beautiful North San Diego County. This is an excellent opportunity for a veterinarian who values high-quality medicine, strong client relationships, a collaborative team culture, and a schedule that supports a healthy work-life balance.
Our hospital is designed to help veterinarians thrive. We primarily practice strong, high-quality Western medicine, while also offering integrative services for those who have an interest in learning more. An interest in integrative medicine is welcome, but it is not required.

Position Responsibilities
As an Associate Veterinarian, you will:
Perform comprehensive physical examinations
Develop diagnostic and treatment plans
Interpret laboratory results, imaging, and other diagnostics
Perform routine surgery and dentistry
Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients
Maintain accurate and thorough medical records
Collaborate closely with technicians and support staff to provide excellent patient care

Requirements
Qualified candidates should meet the following criteria:
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent)
Licensed or eligible for California veterinary licensure
Current DEA license
Strong clinical and diagnostic skills in small animal medicine
Excellent communication and client education skills
Ability to work collaboratively within a team
Commitment to practicing high-quality veterinary medicine
Interest in integrative medicine is a plus but not required.
