About this role

Horner & Nash DVM, Equine Veterinary Services

Established in 1968, Horner & Nash is a privately owned five-doctor equine general practice in Canton, Georgia, just outside Atlanta in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. We value compassionate client relationships, work/life balance, and thoughtful, progressive medical care. Our patients include all-level hunter/jumper and dressage horses, gaited show horses, western performance horses, broodmares, backyard geriatrics, trail horses, and quite a few beloved pet donkeys.

We start each day together at the clinic to maximize communication, efficiency of calls, and continuity of care. Collaboration and sharing of cases/clients is fostered by office staff and veterinarians. Advancement of each vet’s area of interest is encouraged through internal and external referrals/consultations along with a generous CE allowance. We are seeking an associate veterinarian with integrity, curiosity, and heart to complement our team. New graduates and experienced vets are both welcome to apply, and mentorship will be available 24/7, including a 1 to 3 month initial ride-along period.
