Assistant/Associate Professor - Large Animal Surgery
Oregon State University, Carlson College of Veterinary Medicine is seeking applicants for a full-time, Assistant/Associate Professor of Large Animal Surgery, Clinical Track, with an earliest start date of September 1st, 2026. Required: DVM or comparable degree and completion of an ACVS or ECVS-certified large animal training program. Must possess clinical experience in Large Animal Surgery, have excellent patient care and communication skills and have demonstrated commitment to educational equity. Preference may be given to those with ruminant or porcine experience. New graduates of training programs are welcome to apply and dedicated time for board preparation can be negotiated. Successful candidates will join our Large Animal Surgery and Emergency services, which provide clinic service to clients and clinical training to veterinary students and house officers. Up to 50% of clinical duties may be scheduled outside of normal business hours. They will interface with other clinical services supporting a varied caseload.
