What Makes AHDC Different: 

• Explore the Medicine You Love: Our doctors bring experience in exotics, advanced dentistry, behavior, surgery, urgent care, and clinical research. Exotics are an established part of our practice, with two exotic-focused veterinarians, dedicated trained support, specialized equipment, and clients who travel over an hour for care
  
• Experienced Clinical Support: Each appointment doctor has assigned clinical support, with additional treatment and laboratory coverage. Our team includes seven licensed veterinary technicians in addition to experienced veterinary assistants. Our collaborative doctors regularly share cases, ideas, and expertise.
  
• An Opportunity to Focus on Urgent Care: We already see a mix of scheduled appointments, same-day urgent cases, and select emergency presentations, supported by coordinated triage and dedicated urgent care appointment blocks. For a veterinarian who loves urgent care, we're open to building a full-time role focused on it, without overnight ER shifts.
  
• Build A Schedule That Works: Our large, established team gives us flexibility in how we structure doctor schedules. Whether you prefer three longer days, four shorter days, or a combination of full and half days, we're open to designing a schedule around your preferred hours and our hospital's coverage needs.
• Mentorship With a Plan: New graduates receive time focused on shadowing and training, followed by a gradual transition from longer appointments to a standard schedule. You'll also have experienced colleagues to learn from and access to CVP's Catapult mentorship program.
