Small Animal Associate Veterinarian
Looking for great medicine, real work-life balance, and a little more adventure outside of work?
Pinedale Animal Hospital is seeking a Small Animal Associate Veterinarian to join our independent, community-focused practice in beautiful western Wyoming. Serving the Pinedale area since 1983, we have relocated into a brand-new, 3,000+ square-foot hospital designed to give our doctors and team the space, technology, and support to practice excellent medicine.
Whether you’re an experienced veterinarian looking for your next chapter or a new graduate ready to build confidence with a supportive team behind you, we’d love to meet you!
Why Pinedale Animal Hospital?
- A modern hospital built for great medicine: Our new facility features four exam rooms, a comfort suite, two surgery tables, a dedicated dental suite, and a radiology room. You’ll have access to digital radiography, dental radiographs, ultrasound, cold laser therapy, in-house diagnostics, and modern surgical equipment.
- Work-life balance that actually feels balanced: Enjoy flexible hours, weekends off, and a strong 4:1 support staff ratio so you can focus on practicing medicine without feeling stretched in every direction.
Support for where you are AND where you want to go: New graduates will find hands-on mentorship, case collaboration, and a team invested in helping them grow with confidence. Experienced veterinarians will have room to expand their interests, take on leadership, and even explore future ownership opportunities. - Interesting cases without losing the personal connection: Our caseload is approximately 50% canine and 50% feline, with the occasional pocket pet mixed in. Our doctors perform everything from routine wellness and dentistry to soft tissue surgery, CCL repairs, mass removals, and exploratory procedures.
Most importantly, we’re proudly independent. Our clients value thoughtful, transparent care, and some travel from Jackson Hole and beyond to see us. We’re also active in our local community and partner with organizations such as Happy Endings to help animals in need.
