Petersen Pet Hospital is hiring a part-time or full-time Associate Veterinarian to join our team! Whether you’re an experienced clinician or a recent graduate, you’ll find a supportive environment that values collaboration, growth, and having fun while providing exceptional patient care.

- Hours of Operation: Monday–Friday: 8:00am – 6:00pm; Saturday: 8:00am – 12:00pm; Sunday: Closed

About Us: Petersen Pet Hospital is a full-service, AAHA-accredited small animal hospital located in Hiawatha, Iowa, a suburb of Cedar Rapids. Our 9500 sq ft, state-of-the-art facility (winner of the Iowa Merit Award in the DVM360 Hospital Design contest in 2019) is fully equipped with all the bells and whistles, including laparoscopic tools, EKG, digital radiology, ultrasound, laser technology, and an in-house lab.
Led by Dr. Petersen, Dr. Saunders, and Dr. McGinty, our veterinarians are backed by a highly skilled team that is enthusiastic about veterinary medicine and works hard to create a warm, inviting, and comfortable environment.

Requirements:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or VMD degree from an accredited institution
- Valid veterinary license in the state of Iowa
